There is a new campaign based on neuroscience that has funding of $4 million by the SA Government to develop the minds of infants to give them the best opportunity to develop in life from birth.
The campaign is referred to as "Words Grow Minds".
Contrary to former well held beliefs concerning the types of play dependant on age, the science supports stimulation from birth.
Importantly, resources have been developed with this campaign to assist parents with new-borns and toddlers.
